Lauren has been with the In Motion School of Dance and their dance company, Concepts In Motion, for some time now; first as a student, and now as a teacher and choreographer. Since joining the In Motion family, Lauren has had many valuable opportunities: performing at Disney World, working with renowned choreographers such as Slam and bj Sullivan and participating in a variety of workshops including the Bates Dance Festival. She was also given the honor of making her local choreographic debut at their 2006 company show, where her piece ‘Juice’ was performed.

Lauren’s dance training began in Bermuda at the age of three and continued while studying in both Connecticut and New Orleans. In May 2008 Lauren graduated cum laude from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. There she was a member of the Newcomb Dance Company and performed with them at the American College Dance Festival. In addition, Lauren was also given the opportunity to perform and train with the Tsunami Dance Company – a professional contemporary dance company based in New Orleans.

Lauren currently teaches Intermediate and Senior Modern classes at In Motion, and continues to choreograph for Concepts In Motion.
