Lizz has been dancing for over thirty years and performing professionally since the age of thirteen when she joined Greg Thompson’s Follies as their youngest dancer ever. Over the years Lizz has studied ballet, tap, jazz, and modern under various artists in England, New York, Miami, and Bermuda.
Lizz graduated with a BFA in Dance (cum laude) from Florida International University/New World School of the Arts in Miami. Whilst in Miami, Lizz danced professionally with a modern-based dance company and performed in various dance and theatre productions. Lizz also had the opportunity to work with various renowned jazz and contemporary choreographers such as Demetrius Klein (Klein Dance Co.), David Parsons (Parsons Dance Co.), and Freddrick Bratcher, and in addition to attending the Alvin Ailey School as a summer scholarship student. Lizz is the Founder and Director of the In Motion School of Dance and the “Concepts In Motion Dance Company”, which she both choreographs and performs for. She is also a former board member with the Bermuda Ballet Association and National Dance Foundation of Bermuda where she continues to support and develop dance in Bermuda. Lizz recently had the opportunity to perform with Gilbert & Sullivan Society of Bermuda as a chorus girl and dancer in the musical, The Producers.
